Low‑voltage technician
ou ensure that the protection and control systems on Elia’s low‑voltage network operate optimally. Together with your colleagues you carry out maintenance, repairs and installations, using digital tools to work efficiently.
High‑voltage technician
You detect faults in the high‑voltage network and perform measurements to determine their cause. You are independently responsible for maintenance, repairs and installing new equipment, supported by digital tools. In doing so you directly contribute to the reliability of Belgium’s electricity grid.
Technician Cables & Lines
You help ensure the safety and quality of the network by performing measurements, inspections and interventions on underground cables and overhead lines. You are responsible for the maintenance and repair of these essential connections. You are regularly visible in the field and in contact with local residents.
Offshore technician
As an offshore technician you are an indispensable link in maintaining and repairing our offshore installations. You work in a unique environment where technology, safety and collaboration are central. Thanks to your efforts the transmission of electricity is guaranteed 24/7.
OCE technician
As an OCE technician you help ensure that working procedures and safety rules at Elia are correctly applied across different technical teams, such as high‑voltage, low‑voltage, cables & lines and projects. You support colleagues in the field, ensure clear agreements and help safeguard the quality of the work.

Diploma or experience You have a diploma in a relevant technical discipline (electricity, electromechanics, etc.) or equivalent experience.

Electrical knowledge You can read electrical schematics and have a solid understanding of electricity.

Safety first You always put safety first, for yourself and your colleagues. Working according to rules and procedures is second nature to you.

Teamplayer You enjoy collaborating with colleagues and support each other where needed. Together you contribute to robust and safe projects.

Driving licence B You hold a category B driving licence so you can work flexibly at various sites.
