Data Operations
As a data operations specialist, you ensure that all information used by Elia remains accurate, complete, and usable. You work on databases, data quality, and reporting in collaboration with teams such as Asset and System Data, System Data Operations, and Markets. You dive into details, manage core processes, and make sure technical and operational colleagues always have correct data to work with. In roles like data steward, data governance and reporting manager, or asset data operator, you directly contribute to an efficient and secure energy grid.
Data Analytics and Data Science
As a specialist in data analytics and data science, you turn complex datasets into insights that impact the entire electricity grid. You build analyses, dashboards, and predictive models together with teams such as Markets, Asset and System Data Analytics, and the Data Chapter. In roles like data analyst, BI specialist, or data scientist, you help colleagues understand trends, make better decisions, and anticipate what the grid will need tomorrow. You make data tangible and strategically valuable.
GIS and Spatial Data
As a GIS expert, you ensure that Elia always has an accurate view of where infrastructure is located and how it evolves. You work with maps, location data, and spatial datasets within teams such as the GIS Team and Asset Network and GIS Data Operations. In roles like GIS analyst, geo data specialist, or spatial data engineer, you support projects and engineering with reliable geographic information. You combine technical precision with field insight so the network can be efficiently designed and maintained.
Datacom
As a datacom specialist, you play a key role in the communication that keeps the electricity grid running. You work on stable and secure data flows within the Datacom Elia environment and ensure that critical information is always transmitted correctly and on time. In roles like datacom engineer, transmission data specialist, or telecom systems engineer, you connect infrastructure, systems, and operational services. You make sure everything stays connected, even when it matters most.
